Please read these Terms & Conditions ("Terms") carefully before engaging Writovia Ghostwriting ("Writovia," "we," "us," or "our") for any service. By using our website, requesting a quote, or entering into a service agreement with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

01. Services Provided

Writovia provides professional ghostwriting, manuscript development, editing, and content creation services. Our services include but are not limited to:

• Full-length book ghostwriting (non-fiction, memoir, business, self-help)
• Blog & article ghostwriting and content strategy
• Personal branding content (LinkedIn, thought leadership pieces)
• Speech and script writing
• Book editing, proofreading, and developmental feedback

All services are subject to a separate written project agreement signed between you ("Client") and Writovia prior to commencement of work.

02. Project Agreements & Scope of Work

Each project begins with a discovery call followed by a written Project Agreement that specifies the scope, deliverables, timeline, word count, revision rounds, and total fee. Work commences only after:

• The Project Agreement is signed by both parties.
• A Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is executed.
• The agreed deposit payment is received.

03. Payment Terms

Our standard payment structure is as follows:

• Deposit: 50% of the total project fee is due upon signing the Project Agreement.
• Milestone Payments: For projects over $5,000, payments are structured in agreed milestones throughout the project.
• Final Payment: The remaining balance is due upon delivery of the final draft.
• Rush Fees: Projects requiring accelerated timelines may incur a rush surcharge (15–30% depending on urgency).

All prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD). Invoices are due within 5 business days of issuance. Late payments exceeding 10 business days may incur a 1.5% monthly late fee.

04. Intellectual Property & Authorship Rights

Upon receipt of full payment, Writovia transfers all intellectual property rights — including copyright — to the Client. This includes:

• Full ownership of all written content, drafts, and manuscripts produced for the Client.
• The right to publish under the Client's name without attribution to Writovia.
• The right to modify, adapt, translate, and commercially exploit the work.

Until full payment is received, Writovia retains copyright over all deliverables. Writovia reserves the right to list the project as a portfolio reference unless otherwise agreed in the NDA.

05. Confidentiality

Writovia takes confidentiality extremely seriously. All project communications, materials, and the existence of the ghostwriting relationship are protected by our NDA. Our team members are contractually prohibited from disclosing client information. See our Privacy Policy for complete details on data handling.

06. Revisions

Each project includes a defined number of revision rounds as specified in the Project Agreement. Standard packages include:

• Up to 2 structural revision rounds per manuscript section.
• 1 final proofreading pass before delivery.

Revisions requested after the agreed rounds, or revisions that substantially alter the original brief, will be quoted separately. Revision requests must be submitted in writing within 14 days of delivery of each draft.

07. Client Responsibilities

To ensure a successful project, the Client agrees to:

• Provide timely feedback, materials, interview time, and any content necessary to complete the project.
• Make payments on the agreed schedule.
• Communicate scope changes promptly and in writing.

Delays caused by the Client's non-responsiveness beyond 14 days may result in a project pause. Resuming work after a pause of 30+ days may require a re-scoping fee.

08. Cancellation

Cancellations are subject to the terms in the Project Agreement. Generally:

• Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced.
• If Writovia cancels the project (excluding force majeure events), you will receive a full refund of all amounts paid.
• Partial work completed prior to cancellation by the Client will be invoiced at a pro-rated hourly rate.

09. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Writovia's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to our services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for the specific project in dispute. Writovia is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Delaware.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes become effective upon posting to this page. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
