At Writovia Ghostwriting, we are committed to delivering exceptional work and ensuring client satisfaction. We invest significant time, expertise, and resources into every project. This Refund Policy outlines your rights and our obligations regarding payments, cancellations, and disputes.
01. Our Commitment to Quality
Before requesting a refund, please note that your satisfaction is our highest priority. If you are unhappy with any deliverable, we encourage you to first contact us directly. Our team is dedicated to making revisions and adjustments until the work meets the agreed brief. Most issues can be resolved quickly and without escalation.

03. Deposit Policy
A deposit of 50% of the total project fee is required to begin work. This deposit covers:
- Initial research, discovery interviews, and project planning.
- Writer allocation and scheduling of dedicated writing time.
- Administrative costs of onboarding your project.
The deposit is fully refundable only if you cancel within 48 hours of signing the Project Agreement and before any work has commenced. Once work begins, the deposit is non-refundable.
04. Cancellation After Work Begins
If you cancel a project after work has commenced:
- The deposit is forfeited to cover work already completed and writer compensation.
- Any milestone payments already made are non-refundable.
- If the project is cancelled mid-milestone, you will be invoiced for the pro-rated portion of work completed at our hourly rate.
- All completed work to date will be delivered to you in its current state.
05. Quality Disputes
If you believe the delivered work does not meet the written brief, please follow this process:
- Step 1: Submit a written revision request within 14 days of delivery, clearly outlining the specific concerns.
- Step 2: Our team will review and provide a revised draft within the agreed revision timeline.
- Step 3: If, after exhausting all included revision rounds, the work still does not meet the original brief, escalate to our Client Success team.
- Step 4: We will conduct an internal quality review. If we determine the work materially fails to meet the agreed scope, we will offer either additional revisions at no charge, a partial credit towards future services, or — in exceptional cases — a partial refund.
Refunds will not be issued based on subjective preferences that differ from the original brief, or due to changes in the Client's vision after work has been delivered.
06. Force Majeure
Writovia is not liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, illness, internet outages, or other force majeure events. In such cases, we will notify you promptly and work out an equitable resolution, which may include rescheduling or project transfer to another qualified writer.
07. How to Request a Refund
To initiate a refund or cancellation request:
- Email us at billing@writovia.com with your project reference number, the reason for the request, and any supporting documentation.

We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and aim to resolve all refund matters within 10 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method.
08. Chargebacks
We strongly encourage clients to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback through their bank or credit card provider. Unjustified chargebacks — filed against projects where services have been delivered per the Project Agreement — will be contested and may result in permanent suspension of your account and pursuit of outstanding amounts through appropriate legal channels.
09. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. The policy that applies to your project is the version in effect at the time your Project Agreement is signed. Updates are effective upon posting to this page.
